Williams - The decorating craze!

Herb's mom went on a decorating craze the week after Abby's birth. We lived in a disaster for a week but the end result was worth it. She flew out to visit us and she amazed us with her organization and decorating skills. She made all the curtains for the kids rooms, moved beds, dressers, clothes, and reorganized their rooms. The rooms look awesome and we are so thankful that she was able to come out and help us out.

 

 Herbie's room. He is finally in his own room. Maybe someday the top bunk will be filled with a second boy! Nora is showing off the rooms for me.

 Abby gets her very own room. Keren made all the crib bedding and curtains.

 Sage and Nora are now sharing a room. The quilts on their beds were made by my Great Grandma Barlocker and my Grandma Hall. They are beautiful and Keren made the curtains and accessories to match the quilts.  We bought new white bunk beds for their room. Herb's sister Ashley spent a grueling week painting light pink stripes in their room. It is over the top and totally a girl room. Sage and Nora love it!

 This room doesn't have closets because technically it isn't a bedroom, it is an extra family room.  Keren made a makeshift closet with curtains. It is so awesome because now we actually can fit all of the girls clothes in their own room. In the past, some of Sage's clothes were scattered in other closets. Sage's favorite item is the ballerina lamp on the desk. The board above her desk is a board that I painted with magnet paint. Sage wants to be able to hang all her artwork but the magnet paint is not all the strong. I am going to have to find stronger magnets.

We stopped at a park on our way home from church Easter Sunday to take some pictures. The lighting was a little harsh and we couldnt' find any shade. Go figure. We can't usually find the sun in Oregon. A few turned out, most of the ones that I am not in!

Wanna hear about the hottest thing that's ever happened to me?

So, there was this one time Brandon and I had to stay in a cheap motel in Boulder. There wasn't an extra blanket to be found in the place soooo... are you ready for this? We shared a blanket. Like, slept underneath the same blanket. (As opposed to using our own individual blankets like we have done every night for nine years.) I think our feet might have even touched once but I can't be sure.
